Using an MP3 Device to Train for CPR

Author: Reuven Cohen

Most of us during our life time take CPR courses. This can happen in school work or in specific courses, like becoming a life guard. You can get a valuable training session using state of the art CPR Manikins but the biggest problem is to remember what you learned. In most cases people forget and then panic or avoid helping those in desperate moments.

10 Years ago I took a life guard course. After learning the basics for CPR (ABC) I typed (no computer at the time) the procedures on a peace of paper. I then put it into my wallet. From time to time I would open my wallet and take a look at the procedures I wrote down. This was a great way to refresh my CPR skills and Knowledge. One day I realized that the paper was all crumbled and that it was getting harder to read. My refreshing phase had stopped and I lost my confidence that I can help someone in an emergency.

Thanks to knew technology training and saving lives remains handy. Now you can purchase a rescue aid key chain. By pressing a button you can hear a voice to help you remember critical lifesaving skills, any time, anywhere! This key chain uses advanced digital voice technology to help you train. The CPR Rescue Aid key chain is a voice-prompting device that coaches CPR-trained individuals through the steps of CPR for adults, babies and children, while following the guidelines of the American Heart Association.

All you have to do is push "A" for adult, "B" for baby, or "C" for child and you have lifesaving information at your fingertips. This is a great practice aid and you don't have to worry about any piece of paper falling apart. Now you can train while waiting in line for the Dr or at any other convenient moment. You will be able to refresh your CPR skills and
knowledge and more important, this tool will help increase your confidence during emergencies.

But why stop there. Today people carry small MP3 devices for those "convenient moments". So now if you take a CPR course (highly recommended) just record your training to an MP3 device and treasure it for life.
